We do not address decaying tile underlayment or flashing problems.
Just for the record; The Pigeon Guy does not hire any technicians over 190 lbs to walk on your tiled roof. It is possible to walk slowly and carefully for estimates if you are a little heavier, but to work and carry equipment, it would be practically impossible to not crack additional tiles.
It is very important to make sure your contractor secures tiles with adhesive when they are installing perching wire since the wire oftentimes pulls tiles from their intended position possibly exposing the delicate tile underlayment paper. In addition, drilling into mud transitions easily causes cracks where their might not have been any before.
*Our technicians specialize in working on tile roofs and meet strict weight requirements before being hired. We are trained to repair cracked roof tiles (mostly pre-existing) whenever possible with waterproof industrial silicone adhesive. On the rare occasion a tile cannot be repaired or pre-existing damage is obvious, it is our policy to inform you immediately. We do not replace tiles at our expense. In the unexpected event of catastrophic and irreconcilable damage, be sure your contractor is licensed by The Arizona Registrar of Contractors (ROC).
